Woman and Minors Arrested for Rs 2 Crore Bridal Outfit Theft in Delhi

A woman and two minors were arrested in Delhi for robbing a boutique of bridal outfits worth Rs 2 crore. The trio executed the theft by first distracting the security guard before overpowering him. Despite their attempt to destroy evidence, police tracked them down through investigative leads related to the tempo van used in the crime.
In a brazen incident, a woman along with two minor accomplices stole bridal outfits valued at Rs 2 crore from a boutique located inside a farmhouse in Delhi. The crime unfolded on the night of March 1 in Fatehpur Beri, where the woman masqueraded as a relative of the boutique’s owner to gain entry.
The trio executed their plan effectively. While the woman distracted the security guard, her accomplices ambushed him, tied him up, and proceeded to loot 50 high-end bridal outfits, electronic devices, four paintings, and various other valuables.
Following the robbery, the group attempted to erase their tracks by stealing the CCTV DVR. However, police efforts led them to trace the tempo van utilized during the crime back to Manglapuri, based on clues gathered from partially obscured footage showing its number plate.
Police investigations progressed after the security guard escaped and reported the incident. Authorities located the tempo, and subsequent questioning of the owner revealed that a juvenile had borrowed it. This led to the identification and confession of the juvenile, revealing the involvement of the other two suspects.
According to police reports, both minors, hailing from Sultanpur, meticulously planned and executed the robbery given one possessed insider knowledge of the boutique’s layout and merchandise. The woman was apprehended in Ghaziabad as part of the ongoing investigation.
The attempted theft of bridal outfits valued at Rs 2 crore in Delhi highlights a coordinated effort to deceive and overpower security measures. With the involvement of minors and a pre-planned execution of the crime, the case demonstrates the importance of vigilant security protocols and prompt law enforcement response. The arrested suspects provide a cautionary example of the risks faced by boutique businesses in urban settings.
