Nitesh Kumar, a 35-year-old man accused of kidnapping and murdering a five-year-old girl in Hubballi, Karnataka, was killed in a police encounter. Following the shooting, Kumar was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. This incident highlighted Kumar’s prior criminal record, including a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act related to rape and murder.
