Kazakh tourists in Thailand remain unharmed by Myanmar’s earthquake, with popular resort areas stable and no tremors felt. All airport operations are normal, and evacuation requests have not been necessary for the 4,457 Kazakh visitors currently in Thailand.

The Tourism Rights Protection System has confirmed that Kazakh tourists in Thailand are safe and unaffected by the recent 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck Myanmar on March 28. Popular Thai resorts, such as Phuket, Khao Lak, and Krabi, along with locations in the Gulf of Thailand like Pattaya and Hua Hin, reported no tremors.

Bangkok Airport experienced temporary suspension of operations for takeoffs and landings; however, these have since resumed fully. Currently, there are 4,457 Kazakh tourists enjoying their stay in Thailand, with no evacuation requests reported from them or local tour operators.
