Car Crash in Vadodara: Witness Claims Driver Was Intoxicated

The police have apprehended the driver, identified as Rakshit Ravish Chaurasia, who has been charged with drink-and-drive. However, he maintains that he was not drunk, claiming to have only attended a Holika Dahan celebration. Chaurasia insisted he was driving at a speed of 50 km/h and described the crash’s circumstances, including a pothole, that he believes contributed to the accident.
Chaurasia expressed remorse and a desire to connect with the victims’ families, acknowledging his responsibility in the incident. Meanwhile, police investigations continue, focusing on the various vehicles involved in the crash, which included two scooters and an electric vehicle.
