Following his time in Saudi Arabia, Rubio will attend the Group of Seven foreign ministers meeting in Quebec where he will focus on U.S. interests in global peace and cooperation. Contrary to past tensions with Canada, there was no mention of these issues by his spokeswoman, perhaps indicating a strategy to prioritize collective security discussions.
