The hospital disputed these accusations, stating that Nimama caused disruptions in the ICU and verbally abused staff.
In viral footage, Nimama can be seen walking with a catheter and breathing tube still attached, prompting a protest on the street. Police personnel arrived to manage the escalating situation as local authorities noted the incident. Reportedly, Nimama had initially been admitted to another hospital after an altercation with a neighbor before being transferred to GD Hospital.
Following the viral video, Collector Rajesh Batham initiated an inquiry. A three-member investigation team has since visited the hospital to gather details. An official from the inquiry stated that they would ensure an unbiased investigation by recording statements from all parties involved.
Meanwhile, GD Hospital’s administration released CCTV evidence asserting that Nimama misbehaved in the ICU and stated that a complaint against him has been filed at the Industrial Area Police Station. Moreover, they claim that he has a criminal background, further complicating the situation concerning his accusations of fraud.
