Ryoko Hirosue, a 44-year-old Japanese actress, was arrested by Shizuoka prefectural police for allegedly injuring a nurse at a hospital in Shimada. The incident occurred around 12:20 a.m. when Hirosue was accused of kicking the 37-year-old nurse and scratching her arm, resulting in minor injuries to the nurse.

Prior to her arrest, Hirosue was taken to the hospital after a car collision on the Shin-Tomei Expressway involving her vehicle and a large trailer. She was accompanied by a man believed to be her manager, but both sustained no serious injuries from the crash.

According to an official from the Kakegawa police station, the nurse confronted Hirosue while the actress was wandering in the hospital waiting for treatment, leading to the alleged assault. Hirosue had a long career, debuting as an actress in junior high and participating in numerous films, dramas, and commercials.

In 2023, she faced personal issues involving a relationship that led her agency to suspend her indefinitely. Following her independence in 2024, Hirosue attempted to revive her entertainment career but has now announced a withdrawal from all activities for the time being, per her personal office’s official website.
