Tahawwur Rana faces extradition to India for his alleged involvement in the 2008 Mumbai attacks, which led to the deaths of over 160 individuals. The U.S. Supreme Court has denied his plea to stay the extradition process, confirming that the extradition will proceed. Rana had previously appealed this decision, seeking a delay on his extradition on an emergency basis, but that request was rejected.
The Mumbai Crime Branch initiated a criminal conspiracy case against Rana, following the attacks.
