An Indian-origin man, Pradipkumar Patel, aged 56, and his daughter were tragically shot dead while working in a convenience store in Accomack County, Virginia. The shooting occurred around 5:30 am on March 20, as confirmed by the county sheriff’s office.
Upon arrival, authorities found Patel suffering from gunshot wounds and unresponsive, while his daughter was also discovered with fatal injuries. Despite being transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, she later died due to her wounds.
In response to the tragedy, police arrested George Frazier Devon White, a 44-year-old man from Onancock. He is currently held without bond, charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and other firearm-related offenses. No motive has been disclosed for the shooting as of now.
