Lawyers Attack Cement Murder Accused in Meerut Court

During the court proceedings, the situation escalated as news spread that an angry crowd of lawyers was gathering in the court complex. Additional police forces were deployed, but they encountered at least a hundred lawyers determined to assault the accused. Videos captured police personnel shielding Muskaan and Sahil from the lawyers, who shouted violent encouragements like “taiyyar raho” meaning stay ready.

Despite police efforts to manage the crowd, lawyers still managed to strike blows against the accused as they were escorted to a police vehicle. At one point, a lawyer climbed atop an SUV to attack them. Eventually, police successfully transported Muskaan and Sahil away from the fray, signaling the end of the confrontation.

Supreme of Police Ayush Vikram Singh revealed that Muskaan orchestrated the murder, beginning her scheme months prior. She reportedly led Sahil to believe his deceased mother was communicating with him through a fake Snapchat account she created, a tactic that drew him into complicity.

The incident demonstrates the intense public outrage surrounding heinous crimes, particularly in cases of domestic violence and murder. The lawyers’ reaction reflects a broader societal demand for justice.
