A 43-year-old Uzbek woman, Egamberdieva Zebo, was found dead in a Lucknow hotel under suspicious circumstances. She was last seen ordering food and was discovered unresponsive by hotel staff. Police are investigating her association with a Delhi man she checked in with, suggesting she may have been involved in illicit activities. The case remains pending a postmortem report.

A 43-year-old Uzbek woman was discovered deceased in a hotel located in Lucknow’s Vibhuti Khand area. Local law enforcement is currently probing the circumstances surrounding her death, which appears to be linked to a male companion she had checked in with, although no visible injuries were found on her body.

The woman, identified as Egamberdieva Zebo from Uzbekistan’s Tashkent region, was last seen by hotel staff the previous day when she ordered food and water. On the morning of her discovery, housekeeping personnel noticed the lack of response when they rang her doorbell and subsequently used a master key to enter her room, where she was found unconscious. Immediate medical assistance was sought, but she was pronounced dead upon arrival at Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital.

According to Vibhuti Khand police, the incident has been duly reported to the Uzbek embassy. The police have confirmed that there were no signs of physical injury on the deceased and that further actions will depend on the results of the postmortem examination. A forensic team is currently evaluating the crime scene for evidence collection.

Zebo checked into the hotel with a 26-year-old man identified as Satnam Singh from South Delhi on March 2, staying in room number 109. Evidence suggests Singh left the hotel three days later, leaving Zebo alone. Police are seeking to contact Singh, whose phone is reportedly turned off. It has been indicated that Zebo may have been linked to activities related to the flesh trade and her travel history suggests visits to various locations, including Nepal.

In summary, the investigation into the death of Uzbek national Egamberdieva Zebo is underway with police seeking to determine the cause behind her demise. The absence of injuries raises questions about the circumstances surrounding her death, particularly in relation to her male companion, Satnam Singh. The police’s ongoing search for this individual, alongside the investigation of the hotel’s legality, underscores the complexity of Zebo’s situation and the potential implications of her travel history.
