Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has traveled to Saudi Arabia to meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud. Following this meeting, Ukrainian representatives are set to remain in Riyadh for discussions with U.S. officials. The confirmation of Zelensky’s departure was provided by Yaroslav Zheleznyak, a member of the Verkhovna Rada, on his Telegram channel.

“That’s it, the presidential plane flew from Poland to Saudi Arabia,” Zheleznyak stated, indicating the commencement of the talks. Zelensky’s agenda includes discussions with Saudi representatives, which will be succeeded by bilateral talks between Ukraine and the United States.

The Ukrainian delegation comprises several top officials: Head of the President’s Office Andriy Ermak, Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and Commander of the 93rd Brigade Pavlo Palisa. This high-level delegation aims to strengthen ties and address mutual concerns.

Previously, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed optimism regarding the outcome of talks between Washington and Kyiv in Saudi Arabia, stating, “I think we will have a good result in Saudi Arabia” during his flight. These interactions are pivotal for fortifying relations between the involved nations and addressing ongoing geopolitical issues.

Zelensky’s visit to Saudi Arabia marks a significant diplomatic effort, with discussions aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s ties with both Saudi Arabia and the United States.
