The girl, who is from Shivpuri, went missing on February 23 and was discovered later on a local terrace, unconscious and bleeding. Her family has vocally demanded the death penalty for the attacker, with her mother stating, “He should be shot openly on the road.”
Protests by local residents, supported by both Congress and BJP political leaders, have erupted in response to the incident, calling for swift justice. The leaders have also urged the creation of a fast-track court to handle the case expeditiously, presenting a memorandum to the district administration.
